Al-Hikmah Islamic Montessori School to Host Parents-Teachers Forum on Digital Future for Children

Al-Hikmah Islamic Montessori School has announced plans to hold its upcoming Parents-Teachers Forum, with a special focus on the role of parents in shaping children’s digital future.

The forum, scheduled for Saturday, 8th at12:00 PM, will bring together parents, teachers, and education stakeholders to discuss how schools and homes can work together to guide pupils in a rapidly changing digital environment.

The event will feature Hon. Mohammed Adam Sukparu, Deputy Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, as the Special Guest of Honor. Hon. Sukparu is expected to share insights on national policy and how government decisions today will impact the digital spaces in which children grow and learn.

According to the director Hajia Memuna Alhassan Dkeny, the conference aims to strengthen the partnership between parents and teachers while addressing key issues such as responsible technology use, online safety, and academic support.

“We believe that education is a shared responsibility, “This forum provides an opportunity for parents to engage directly with educators and policymakers on matters that affect our children’s growth and future” she added.

The agenda for the forum has also been shared with parents and the general public ahead of the event.
